FAQs

What services do you offer?

1

I offer a range of interior design services depending on how much support you need, from one-off advice through to full design concepts. This includes interior design, 3D visualisations, exterior/facade concepts, and design advisory sessions. Whether you’re renovating, building, or just feeling a bit stuck, I can step in at any stage.

How does the design process work?

2

Every project is a little different, but generally it looks like this:

We start with a consult, then move into concept design, this might include layouts, mood boards, or initial direction. From there, I can develop 3D renders to help you properly visualise the space, followed by final selections and documentation if needed.

I keep things as simple and clear as possible so you’re never left second-guessing decisions.

Do I need to commit to a full design service?

3

Not at all. If you just need clarity or a second opinion, my design advisory sessions are perfect for that. If you want more support, we can build that out into a full design package. It’s completely flexible.

What do you need from me to get started?

4

As much or as little as you have.

Plans and measurements are always helpful, but not essential. Inspiration images (Pinterest, saved photos), a rough idea of budget, and what you’re wanting help with is usually enough to get things moving.

How much do your services cost?

5

Every project is different, so I provide tailored proposals based on the scope.

As a guide, my design clarity session starts at $495 + GST, and from there it depends on how much design support you need. I’m always upfront about costs before we begin.

What’s the difference between a basic render and a photorealistic render?

6

A basic render focuses on layout and spatial understanding — it helps you see how everything fits and flows.

A photorealistic render takes it a step further, adding materials, lighting, textures, and detail so you can see how the space will actually feel.

How accurate are your renders?

7

They’re designed to be as realistic as possible and give you confidence in your decisions.

That said, they are still a visual tool — final finishes can vary slightly depending on materials, suppliers, and installation.

What do you need for 3D renders?

8

Ideally floor plans and dimensions, plus any elevations if you have them. If not, I can work with photos and site measurements along with your inspiration and overall direction.

Can you work with my builder or architect?

9

Yes, I regularly work alongside builders, architects, and trades to help bring everything together and ensure the design translates well on site.

How long does a project take?

10

It really depends on the scope.

A consult can give you immediate direction, while full design projects will take longer depending on the level of detail involved. I’ll always outline timeframes upfront so you know what to expect.

Can you help with smaller finishing decisions?

11

Yes, I can step in to help with those final details like tiles, lighting, upholstery, window treatments, and artwork.

Sometimes it’s those last decisions that pull everything together.

Can you work with what I already have?

12

Definitely.

I’m always happy to incorporate existing pieces where it makes sense , it’s often what gives a space personality.

Still have questions?

13

If you’re not quite sure what you need yet, that’s completely fine.

Get in touch or book a design consult, we can figure it out together.
