For this beautiful heritage-style home, the owners wanted to refresh their exterior while staying true to its timeless charm. The existing colour scheme of white with dark grey trim felt a little stark and didn’t quite complement the home’s character detailing. While the architecture itself was full of charm, from the arched doorways to the layered rooflines, the existing colours didn’t quite enhance the home’s proportions or period character.

Using photoshopped facade renders, I presented several colour combinations to help the couple confidently visualise their options before painting.

Resene Porter on the doors and sills for depth and sophistication

The result is a beautifully balanced exterior that feels grounded and elegant, highlighting the architectural features while sitting harmoniously within the surrounding gardens.
